Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Tideline mobile application ("the app", listed on the App Store as "My Tideline"). By downloading, installing, or using Tideline, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using Tideline, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Tideline is a personal timeline journal. It lets you attach photos, notes, and moods to points in time and displays them as a waveform you can navigate and zoom. Your content is stored on your device and, where enabled, in the private iCloud database of your own Apple Account.
Everything you add to Tideline remains yours. We claim no ownership of, and have no access to, your photos, notes, moods, or any other content. You are responsible for the content you add and for maintaining your own device and iCloud backups.
You may use Tideline for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
Versions of Tideline distributed through TestFlight are pre-release software. Features may change, and although we take care to protect it, timeline data created during the beta may be affected by bugs. Please keep independent copies of any photos that matter to you (they remain untouched in your photo library in any case).
Tideline is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, nor that iCloud synchronisation (operated by Apple) will always be available.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tideline and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from:
We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
