Tideline ("we", "our", or "the app" — listed on the App Store as "My Tideline") is a private timeline journal. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it lives, and the choices you have. The short version: your timeline is yours, and we never see it.
We collect nothing.
Moments you add — photos, notes, and moods — are stored on your device. When you choose a photo, Tideline copies a resized version into its own storage; it does not modify your photo library and does not retain ongoing access to it beyond the photos you explicitly pick.
Tideline can keep your timeline in the private iCloud database attached to your personal Apple Account, so your moments survive a lost phone and sync to your other devices. This private database is controlled by Apple's iCloud terms and is accessible only to your Apple Account — the developer has no access to it whatsoever. If iCloud is unavailable or signed out, Tideline simply works locally.
Tideline does not integrate with or send data to any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service involved is Apple iCloud, as described above, under your own Apple Account.
Tideline does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, children included. Since the app has no accounts and no data collection, no personal information about any user — of any age — reaches us.
When you download Tideline from the Apple App Store or install a beta through TestFlight, Apple may collect data according to its own privacy policy. We do not have access to that data beyond aggregate, anonymised statistics (such as download counts). See the Apple Privacy Policy for details.
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
